R.T.R.+ is biphasic, fully sythetic material that mimics human bone structure to provide the matrix suited for new, natural bone growth.
The basic principle of R.T.R. composition is the appropriate balance between the stable hydroxyapatite (HA) acts as a scaffold offering an ideal structure for cellular adhesion and the fast resorbing ß-TCP which immediately begins to release calcium and phosphate ions into micropores enhancing bioactivity.
Choice of two formulations:
80/20 - 20% Hydroxyapatite (HA) and 80% beta-Tricalcium Phosphate (ß-TCP), which helps natural bone formation in a short time.
40/60 - 60% Hydroxyapatite (HA) and 40% beta-Tricalcium Phosphate (ß-TCP), which fully respects the pace of creation of natural bone.

Properties:
- Biphasicformulation (HA/BTCP): New biphasic formulationsallowing aresorption at the right pacewhich leads in the creation of a new stable and qualitative bone.
- Two ratios available: New Biphasic Formulations allowing you to managethe pace of your bone graft procedures
Helps natural bone formation in a short time.
Fully respects the pace of creation of natural bone.
- Global Porosityof 70%: interconnected network of macropores and micropores: Enablesthe colonizationof bonecellsand biologicalfluiduniformlywithin the matrix
- Macroporosity300-600μm average: Interconnectedspacesthatpromotethe biologicalinfiltration andcellular colonizationby osteoblastsand osteoclasts
- Microporosity< 10μm: microporesare the intercrystalline spaces where dissolution and recrystallisation occurs
- Osteoconductive: Provides a matrix for new bone growth
- Bioactive: For ionicexchange : TCP dissolution and bone crystal precipitation create newly bioactive interface with bone cells
- Synthetic: Safe and assured quality
- Sterilisation - irradiation (shelf life 5 years): Safe and adapted to dental practice
- Fully resorbable
Resorption durations
- One presentation
Indications:
- The range allows you to choose the pace of your bone graft procedure.
- If you require a socket filling with a fast new bone formation to prevent future bone weakness, RTR+ 80/20 might be your preferred choice.
- If you prefer a longer resorption pace, hence an even more stable new bone formation, then RTR+ 40/60 will certainly be your choice.
- Obviously, both treatments are of a high quality and allow future implant placement.
