TotalCem is a dual curing permanent adhesive resin cement specially formulated for metal cementation, does not require etching, priming or bonding, is self and light curing.
The Automix system provides a rapid, consistent and homogeneous mixture which can be dispensed directly into the restoration or tooth cavity.
Dedicated to permanent cementation of: crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and posts.
Shades available: A2, T (Translucent).

Properties:
- All in one: Etching + Bonding + Cement.
- Exceptional bond strength to enamel and dentin.
- Dual bonding mechanism: light- and chemo-curable.
- Material binds in areas inaccessible to light.
- After an initial polymerisation of 3 - 4 sec it takes on a gel consistency, allowing for easy removal of excess.
- 2 types of intraoral tips:
thin for prosthetic work and
ultra-thin for the application of cement directly into the canal.
- No post-operative hypersensitivity.
- Very thin cement layer (10um).
- No solubility in the oral environment - excellent sealability.
- Contrast in X-rays.
- Fluoride release.
- Can be applied to vital teeth.
- Long-term colour stability.
- Can be stored at room temperature.
Directions for use:
- Before applying TotalCem, the dentin must be dry but not overdried.
- In the case of inlays and onlays, it is recommended to etch the margins of the enamel with phosphoric acid in order to increase the bonding strength (care should be taken not to spread the acid onto the dentin)
- Carefully clean the root canal of gutta-percha and root-canal filling residues before cementing the inlays
- When luting ceramic inlays or zirconia crowns, hydrofluoric acid can be used to increase the bonding force (1 to 3 minutes), washed thoroughly, dried and then applied Silane.
