Impression material mixing tips are designed to properly mix the components of dental impression materials whether they are being dispensed from a hand dispensing gun, or an automatic dispenser system.
These tips feature special internal pathways for the different components of the impression material, allowing these materials to be mixed at the precse ratios they require.
The tips have been colour-coded for their intended use, a description of which follows.
The mixing ratio of the cannulas is 1:1 or 4:1.

Description and variants of the individual mixing tips:
1. Dark blue-orange (4:1) for the application of syringe-mixed materials (e.g. Max-Cem) where a 4:1 ratio is required. Mixing part white with orange centre. Overall length:
- 36 mm
- 40 mm, narrow short
- 50 mm, narrow medium
- 63 mm, narrow long
2. Blue-orange (4:1) for application of materials with a 4:1 gun (e.g. Protemp 4, Luxatemp). Mixing section white with orange centre. Overall length 77 mm.
3. Blue (1:1) for materials (e.g. Structur). Blue cap and white mixing part. Overall length:
- 58 mm, small
- 64 mm, narrow short
- 77 mm, narrow long
4. Yellow-orange (4:1). Overall length 86 mm.
5. Yellow (1:1) for silicone light compounds (rare and medium flowing). Yellow cap and white mixing section. Overall length 70 mm or 50 mm.
6. Brown (1:1) for application of syringe-mixed materials (e.g. Build-It, Breeze). Tips with brown cap. Overall length:

7. Pink (1:1) for masses. Overall length: 83 mm, medium.
8. Purple (1:1) for masses. Overall length: 90 mm, very large.
9. Light green (1:1) for masses. Overall length: 70 mm.
10. Green (1:1) for regular (thick flowing) silicone masses, with coarse agitator. Suitable for Occlufast masses. Overall length: 88 mm, large.
